Millions of people upload their files on hundreds of file hosting services on the web and people search those files on popular search engines like Google, Yahoo, Ask and Bing; but those search engines are designed to crawls web pages more efficiently. Although they can search for files but those search results are very restricted as they fetch files from all the websites in their huge index.
To search for files specifically uploaded or hosted on those file hosting and sharing services you need to search through specially designed dedicated search engines that crawls and build their index composed only of files, like movies, music, games and documents.
