How To Open System Restore Tool From Task Manager

System Restore can be a very interesting tool if you want to return to a previous Windows OS installation or to another working version. The System Restore tool can be extremely helpful in case your PC/Laptop doesn’t work proper anymore due to some recent software of hardware installations, or if your device has simply been infected with some sort of non-removable virus or infection.

  1. Press this key combination at the same time : “CTRL + Alt + Del
  2. Select the “Start Task Manager” option
  3. Now after the Task Manager pops up you will have to click on “File
  4. Click on “New Task” (or Run in some cases)
  5. Type the following word “rstrui” right in the Create New Task’s empty box and then press OK.
  6. Press NEXT.
  7. Now you have to choose one of the previous Windows Restore Points and hit “Next”.
  8. Click “Finish” and the restoration process will begin.
Unfortunately this “how to” works only on Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows XP.
