Generic Host and SVC Host Errors

How to Fix Generic Host for Win 32 and SVC Hosts Errors !!!!!!
For fixing Generic Host for Win32 Process and svchost.exe errors we have to block two ports….
  1. Port 445
  2. Port 135
To block Port 445
  • Start Run > Regedit
  • Navigate to following key: – HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >> System >> CurrentControlSet >> Services >> NetBT >> Parameters
  • On the right pane you will find option TransportBindName
  • Open TransportBindName and delete existing value
  • Click on OK
To block Port 135
  • Start Run > Regedit
  • Navigate to following key: – HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >> software >> microsoft >> Ole
  • On the right pane you will find option EnableDCOM
  • Open EnableDCOM and change value from Y to N
  • Click on OK
  • And restart your pc.
