How to Remove or Uninstall Microsoft Office 2010

If you didn’t know, uninstalling and reinstalling is one of the first easy method to attempt to fix the software problem but that won’t be possible if the uninstaller got corrupted. As a tech guy I am always prepared with tools to make my repair job faster and easier. One of such important tool is a portable removal tool that can force the uninstallation of a particular software.
Most of the computer that I have repaired has Microsoft Office installed. Some is as old as Office XP and the latest one I have seen is Office 2010. It is indeed one of the most commonly used software to open and edit Word Documents (.doc), Excel (.xls), even though it is very expensive with alternatives such as OpenOffice.org and LibreOffice that can be downloaded and used for free. When faced with problems that I cannot fix in Microsoft Office, I would fully remove it and then attempt to reinstall.

First I would attempt to uninstall Microsoft Office 2010 from Control Panel. If the Windows system is not too corrupted, most of the time the uninstall process would be successful. However there are times when the user themselves screws up their Windows with untrusted cleaning and optimization software.
If this happen and I couldn’t uninstall Office 2010 using the standard procedure, the next step is to try to use the Microsoft Fix it 50450 tool (MicrosoftFixit50450.msi). This tool is only 680KB in size and is able to fully remove Office 2010 suites without damaging other Windows components. Just run the Fix It tool and follow the on-screen instructions.

Apple will Launch iPhone 5 in October, Not September

Earlier China Times reported that the iPhone 5 will be released in the second week of September with an initial order of 4 million units. Now we came to know that the 5th generation iPhone will be released in October. According to AllThingsD, Apple will launch the 5th generation iPhone in October, iPhone 5 will not be released in September. According to John Paczkowski of AllThingsD, his source familiar with Apple’s plans is certain though, that the 5th generation iPhone won’t release until October. You have to wait until October to buy the 5th generation iPhone.

Well, It is expected that iPhone 5 will feature dual-core A5 processor, larger screen, gesture sensitive home button, metal back, 8 megapixel camera, new cloud-based functionality through iOS 5, 64 GB of storage, tapered back, and dual mode communications. Does Google + override facebook ?

I have started using google + from few days for now ( although not geeky )
There are lot of debates happening between facebook and google lovers, typical
human psycology. There are only few who gave their honest feedback for new googles venture.

Although I am not big fan of social networking sites, I am an active member of facebook ( orkut...long back ).

I felt google + is an improved version of facebooks features..
there are no add-ons. Google+ is fast and integrated nicely and wisely into google products. Even though circle concept looks cool..featurewise its not different than Facebook. Like concept was a big hit for facebook and now we have 'plus' concept in G+. Privacy was one of the main concept google promised about for G+ and implemented. I remember this much privacy is already there in FB.

I couldnot find anything new in google+ and disappointed with it.
People are joining to G+ just to explore what they get new in + app ( as I did ).

If you are a HP Gas customer, booking your cylinder has never been easy, until now. Those cylinder booking telephone numbers won’t be picked up by the Office personnel and you are only left with visiting the Distributor’s Office personally (or through a proxy) and make a booking.
But now, you can do the same ONLINE. Not only can you book your cylinder (refill) online, you can also apply for a new HP Gas connection online.

Just visit this customer portal and sign up with your consumer number (if you are already a HP gas consumer) or Sign up for a new HP gas connection.
Enter your consumer Number and select your State, District, City/town and your HP Gas distributor.
If everything is correct, you will be shown your name in the next screen which you have to confirm. Then enter your email address and a password to set up your HP Gas online account. Before you can login to your account, you should confirm your email address by clicking the link that HP gas has sent to your email (Depending on your email provider and security settings setup by you, the email from HP Gas may sometimes land in your Spam folder, so be sure to check that too).
Once you’ve confirmed your email address, you should visit the same link given above and login with your email address and password set by you.
There, you can see your (consumer) details and your Distributors details.
On the left hand side, you can find ‘Internet Booking’ through which you can book your cylinder online. If you reside in Delhi and Kerala, you can also track your booking status.

The Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has become the first such transport organisation in the country to have a Central Call Centre (CCC) with the objective of ensuring the comfortable and convenient travel of the over 1.52 crore passengers who use the 22000 buses it operates every day. The call center service would be of immense help to officials and passengers in any emergency and in everyday RTS operations. Till now, passengers did not kow whom they should approach in case of difficulty in traveling. The CCC service of APSRTC is the first 24/7 facility of its kind among all the State Road Transport Undertakings in the country. The service is outsourced to www.abhibus.com, a company that already handled the back end operations of the passenger reservation system for APSRTC.

First phase of Aadhaar enrollment has been under progress in Hyderabad, Rangareddy, East Godavari, Srikakulam, Adilabad, Anantapur and Chittoor.
